LAFC extended its contract with goalie Lloris by one year until 2026. It also included an option to extend the contract by one year until the 2027 season.

Lloris, the vice captain who wore an LAFC uniform in 2024, played in 45 official LAFC games this year and recorded 14 clean sheets. 

Son's relationship with Son has also continued. Son and Lloris have been together for a long time as a member of Tottenham Hotspur in the English Premier League, and reunited after Son moved to LAFC this season. 

"I'm happy to continue my journey with LAFC," Lloris said. "LAFC is a team that suits me. I'm grateful for the trust the club has shown me."

"Laurice has been an amazing leader since his first day at the club. I'm very happy to have him here," LAFC co-chairman and general manager John Thorrington said. "He is a player with outstanding character and skills both on and off the field. He is very valuable to us as we aim for greater success."
